During the years spent teaching in England I was blessed to meet generous souls who offered me space to retreat, create and write in their homes on the Continent.  I spent an idyllic summer at one such abode, the lovely Casa Columbina, a beautifully renovated rustico in the hills near Alba, Piemonte, Italy.  These works were produced there.
