This little body of work was created in the ancient 17th century barn that was part of a beautiful old Presbytère in Normandy. The property had once been home to the monastics associated with the large church next door.
I took the opportunity to incorporate wood offcuts, cement, sawdust, and other interesting objects from the barn in these works – which were largely inspired by walks along the beaches nearby.
