This is a memorial piece for a favourite uncle.
When I was small I was full of questions about everything, and Uncle Bert thought I was a pest.
He’d always respond to my “What’s this?” with the nonsensical “It’s a wigwam for a goose’s bridle!”
This whimsical piece appeared as the cover image for Fabrications, works by 40 New Zealand Fibre Artists, edited by Anne Nicholas.
