The ‘ingredients’ are almost more interesting than the finished piece! Fascinating … I love what you’ve done here =D
Thanks Rita! – the *earthWorks series* was part of my curriculum when teaching in India. I wanted the students from poor village families to understand that they didn’t need to buy expensive art materials in order to create art … it was such fun – the perfect challenge for a nomadic artist …
Cherishing the quotes you choose to – image and words become a new “product”…is art-piece a nicer word?
Leelah – the quotes clamored to be added as I went along – what a good idea, thought I. 🙂 I don’t try to match work + quote in a conscious way, but am often bemused by the relationship …
Many of the quotes come from a collection at my website *the awakened eye*

Thanks for your feedback!
I’ll pin that quote onto my cork board in studio, getting quite good at the first part….making mistakes….but which one’s to keep? There is the urge to let it all go and start over again. Will I have it in me today? I take a walk instead. I am still learning to get my way around this ‘complex blogging land’. But will keep visiting. Have a beautiful day. Love Marita
Delighted to know you’ve been over to my wee corner of “blogland” Marita – thanks for leaving your trace … sometimes a new start is powerful medicine – and a walk is always good … 🙂
