Just gorgeous … love the addition of the antique textile fragment, and the idea of using mud stains! =D
Thanks Rita – the khadi paper was folded and buried in the earth, which stained the folds and left wonderful marks.
These works were part of a workshop series I did with my students in India – opening them up to what they could create without access to commercial art materials. Great fun!
Yes, and very eco friendly too – no chemicals! =D
